William (BJ) Jetter Ph.D. currently serves as the City Manager and Safety Service Director for the City of Deer Park, a role held since June 2017, where oversight of daily operations is provided. In addition, William Jetter holds the position of Fire Chief at the Monroe Township Fire Department since January 2014, managing all emergency medical and fire activities. As a Principal Consultant with Global Innovation Solutions Consultants since January 2009, William Jetter advises on service delivery programs for both private and government sectors. William Jetter is also an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati, Union Institute & University, and Cincinnati State College, teaching various fire science and emergency management courses. Prior to current roles, William Jetter was the Director of Planning at the Open Public Safety Institute from 2010 to 2013 and served as EMS & Fire Director/Fire Chief at Sycamore Township from 1994 to 2012. William Jetter earned a Doctorate in Fire Safety Management from LaSalle University between 1987 and 1997.
