Olivia D. is a dedicated professional in sustainability and urban planning, currently serving as a Sustainability Planner for the City of Coon Rapids since January 2021, where leadership of sustainability initiatives and liaison responsibilities for the Sustainability Commission are key roles. Previously, Olivia held positions as a Senior Transportation Planner at the Minnesota Department of Transportation, conducting research and stakeholder engagement from August 2018 to January 2021, and as a Community Planner at WSB in 2017-2018, providing planning services to municipalities. Experience also includes a Graduate Student Internship at the City of Saint Paul, focusing on environmental impact assessments and public health integration in planning, along with earlier roles in sustainable urban design and communications for environmental advocacy. Olivia D. holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Environmental Studies from the University of Chicago, dual Master's Degrees in Urban & Regional Planning and Public Health from the University of Minnesota, and has engaged in further studies in Sustainable Urban Planning at the University of California, Berkeley.
