Carlos Nunes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in planning, legal advocacy, and community development. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of College Park, Maryland, since September 2023, Carlos has formerly held roles as a Public Services/Building Inspector and Code Enforcement officer, as well as a Chief Safety Officer for the City of Winchester's Election Office. A seasoned international lawyer and advocate with over two decades of freelance experience, Carlos has also contributed to municipal governance as Town Sergeant for Boyce, Virginia, and as Director for Berlitz International's language centers. Significant past roles include General Manager at Tavira Restaurant and Manager at Jerry's Sub Shop, alongside a strong educational foundation in law and diverse studies from multiple institutions.
