Manager - Development Foresight And Infrastructure Readiness at City of Centennial

Melanie Morgan Ward, AICP, currently serves as Manager of Development Foresight and Infrastructure Readiness and Strategic Advisor for Transportation and Mobility at the City of Centennial since June 2015, following roles as an Innovation Team Data Analyst. Previously, Melanie held an internship in Transportation Planning at Renaissance Planning Group, focusing on geospatial analyses, and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where responsibilities included grading and assisting with research. Additional experience includes serving as Program Director at Woodlands Conservancy, a Student Trip Leader at Tulane University Outdoor Recreation, a Bicycle and Pedestrian Advocacy Intern with the New Orleans Department of Public Works, and a Public Health Intern at emergency architects australia. Melanie holds a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning with a specialization in Transportation and Land Use from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Urban Studies from Tulane University.
