Lauren McDaniel is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as a Senior Accountant for the City of Celina since August 2021, specializing in capital assets and construction in progress, along with bond reconciliations and general ledger accounting. Prior to this role, Lauren held positions as a Senior General Accountant at Dynacraft, where responsibilities included accounts receivable and payroll, and as a Staff Accountant at Evans & Knauth, focusing on tax preparation and audits for nonprofits and governmental entities. Earlier experiences also include roles in daily cash reconciliation and payroll at Grand Homes, as well as tax preparation for individuals and small businesses at Wathen, DeShong & Juncker. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Lamar University and two Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics from Belhaven University.
