Rangajeewa Ratnayake is an accomplished urban planner and academic with extensive experience in community facilities planning, research coordination, and teaching. Currently serving as a Senior Community Facilities Planner at the City of Casey since November 2022, Rangajeewa has honed skills in development assessment and stakeholder engagement. Previously, Rangajeewa held positions at Monash University and AnC Planning, focusing on urban planning and academic research. A noteworthy achievement includes leading the COSMA project, aimed at enhancing urban climate services in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Rangajeewa's academic background encompasses a PhD in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from La Trobe University, along with a strong history of teaching and curriculum development in urban planning disciplines at various universities.
