Daniel Osborne has a diverse work experience in the public health sector. Daniel started their career as a Student Environmental Health Officer at Gilgandra Shire Council, where they gained experience in assessing development applications, conducting food premises inspections, and water sampling. Daniel then worked as an Environmental Health Officer at Redland City Council, where they were responsible for a range of environmental health functions such as routine inspections, project management, and investigating customer complaints. Currently, they are working at the City of Casey, initially as a Coordinator of Public Health and later as the Acting Manager of Safer Communities. Daniel also served as the Pandemic Coordinator during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Public Health at the City of Casey.
Daniel Osborne graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 2011 with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Environmental Health.
