Kaitlyn Mullen is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in media relations and public information. Currently serving as a Senior Public Information Specialist for the City of Cape Coral since February 2022, Kaitlyn previously held roles as a Public Information Officer at the Lee County Sheriff's Office and as Communications Director for the State Attorney's Office in Florida's 10th Judicial Circuit. Kaitlyn's journalism experience includes positions as a Reporter for The Ledger, a Supervising Editor and Photo Editor at WUFT-TV, and various roles at ESPN and other media outlets. Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Valencia College.
