Darren Saxon's work experience includes serving as the Director of the Office for New Americans at the City of Buffalo, New York starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology as the Associate Director of Adult Workforce/Instructor from August 2017 to October 2022.

Darren Saxon has a diverse education history. Darren obtained a Teacher's License in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from the Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision. Additionally, they completed the Not for Profit Management Development Program at the Harvard Business School Club of Buffalo. Darren also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Services and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health and Wellness, General, both from Buffalo State University.
