Matthew Lee currently serves as an Assistant Engineer II for the City of Brisbane, California, since August 2023. Previously, from July 2016 to July 2023, Matthew worked as an Engineering Technician at Castro Valley Sanitary District, managing District Capital Improvement Projects, performing plan reviews, and collaborating with various stakeholders for compliance. Matthew began as an Engineering Intern, conducting CCTV inspections and managing key environmental programs. Earlier professional experience includes a position as an Energy and Environmental Associate at West Valley-Mission Community College District, where water and energy efficiency were monitored, and serving as a Climate Corps Bay Area Fellow with Strategic Energy Innovations, participating in climate resilience projects. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, from 2011 to 2015.
