McAllister Kosar is a Planner currently employed by the City of Bremerton since May 2024, following a tenure as Associate Planner and Planner I at the City of Longview, Washington from March 2022 to May 2024. Responsibilities included managing Appeal Board of Adjustment items, Historic Preservation Commission, short subdivisions, boundary line adjustments, environmental reviews, grant administration, and various permitting processes. Prior experience also includes a Planning Internship with the City of Midlothian in summer 2021 and a role as a Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where GIS was utilized for data analysis and distribution. McAllister Kosar holds a degree in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University, completed in 2022, and developed customer service skills through an earlier position at Jersey Mike's Subs from 2017 to 2021.
