Terry Carter has an extensive career in public service and law enforcement, currently serving as Mayor of Bonney Lake since January 2018, with prior roles as Deputy Mayor and City Council Member. Concurrently, Terry holds the position of Detective Sergeant with the City of Pacific, having previously served as a police officer and detective. Terry's experience includes serving as an Armed Security Officer at the Port of Tacoma, contributing to various police roles in cities such as Algona and Enumclaw, and advising on security for King County Metro. With a military background as a Traffic Management Coordinator in the United States Army Reserve, Terry's education includes studies at Bellevue College and Hazen High School.
