Sheryl McDaniel is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in governmental and financial institutions. Currently, as Accounting Supervisor for the City of Bloomington, IL, Sheryl oversees accounts payable and handles various accounting duties, including grant accounting and bank reconciliations. Previously, Sheryl served as Village Treasurer for the Village of Gardner and held the position of Accountant/Treasurer for the Village of Diamond, where responsibilities included preparing and processing financial documents following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Early career experience includes working as an Accounting Clerk at First Midwest Bank, where Sheryl managed the reconciliation of subsidiary General Ledgers. Sheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University.
