Dmitriy Chernyak, CPA, currently serves as the Finance Director for the City of Bismarck since May 2019 and is a Partner at DMC Auditing and Consulting, LLC, specializing in audit and consulting services for local governments. Previous experience includes roles as General Accounting Manager and Accounting Supervisor at Adams County Government from September 2016 to May 2019, and Auditor at Swanhorst & Company, LLC from April 2009 to September 2016. Dmitriy also worked as a Government Assurance Associate at Clifton Gunderson LLP in 2008-2009, and as an Audit Associate at KPMG Audit in 2007-2008. Dmitriy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Colorado Denver, earned between 2003 and 2007.
