Mark Hunt is an experienced community development professional with a diverse background in economic development, public safety, and project management. Currently serving as the Community Development Director for the City of Bettendorf since June 2020, Mark has previously held key roles such as Finance and Economic Development Director for the Village of Milan, IL, and Director of Operations for the Rock Island Housing Authority. Mark's earlier career includes significant experience at the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce and the Bi-State Regional Commission, managing various economic development projects and community planning initiatives. Mark's educational background features a Master of Public Administration from Drake University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Augustana College, complemented by specialized training from the U.S. Army Defense Information School.
