Claudia Ayala has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Claudia is currently working for Perspectives Ltd as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training Program - Mayor's Office Liaison. Prior to that, they served as the Principal at CEA Consulting. Claudia also worked at the City of Berwyn in multiple roles, including as the Office of the Mayor, City Communications Division Director and the Administrative Manager. At Cook County Government, Claudia was a Commissioner on the Cook County Commission on Women's Issues. Claudia also worked as a Contributing Author at Fig Factor Media. In addition, Claudia has experience as a Vice President-Elect at AFSCME, the Local 1041. Claudia has also worked with the United Neighborhood Organization as the Family & Community Engagement Director, and with the Little Village Environmental Justice Organization as the Campaign and Program Coordinator. Early in their career, Claudia worked at AT&T Mobility as a Facilitator.

Claudia Ayala completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at St. Augustine College from 2012 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Immaculate Heart of Mary High School, but no specific degree or field of study information is known for that period. Additionally, Claudia Ayala obtained a 3-Day Organizing Training certification from AFL CIO Organizing Institute in April 2018 and a Certified Mental Health First Aid (CME) certification from 4 Corner Mental Health Institute in February 2014.
