Yesenia Casillas Lopez, MPA, has extensive experience in community service and housing assistance, currently serving as Community Service Specialist II for the City of Berkeley since August 2019. Prior roles include Community Service Specialist I and Senior Housing Assistant at Contra Costa Housing Authority, along with Program Specialist II at the Los Angeles County Development Authority, where responsibilities included caseload management, compliance, and tenant support for federally funded housing programs. Yesenia's earlier experience as a Senior Foreclosure Counselor at New Economics for Women involved providing counseling to low-income families to prevent foreclosure and achieve self-sufficiency.
