Reina Kapadia is a seasoned urban planner with extensive experience in long-range planning, policy development, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of Berkeley since May 2023, Reina previously worked as an Associate Planner for the City of Beverly Hills from January 2014 to April 2023, focusing on the Housing Element and historic preservation. Prior to that, Reina was a Planning Consultant at Lilley Planning Group and held various planning roles at the City of Tustin, where significant projects included managing residential developments within Tustin Legacy. Reina holds a Master’s degree in City Planning with a concentration in Urban Design from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego. Additionally, Reina has gained valuable experience through internships with Sangath - Vastu-Shilpa Consultants and Perisic Design Studio.
