Heather Hays is a Senior Librarian at the City of Bentonville, a position held since July 2007, where responsibilities include overseeing library operations and addressing adult community needs. Previously, Hays served as a Reference Assistant at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, assisting visitors and managing library inquiries. Earlier experience includes roles as an Inventory Specialist at Target, a Retail Specialist at Coach and ZALES Jewelers, and a Student Library Assistant at Preston Medical Library, focusing on medical research and interlibrary loans. Hays holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Radford University, complemented by a makeup and hair design license from the Tennessee School of Beauty.
