Chris W. Sooter serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance for The Jones Center since December 2019. Sooter has been an Alderman for Ward 2, Position 2 in Bentonville since October 2002 and is a member of both the Parks Advisory Board and the Library Foundation Board. As Chairman of the Board of Directors for VISIT BENTONVILLE since January 2008, Sooter oversees the Bentonville Advertising and Promotions Commission, focusing on tourism and hospitality tax management. Previous experience includes EVP of Finance and Operations roles at Whistler Group, Inc. and Member Services, Inc. from 2002 to 2019. Sooter has also held leadership positions such as President of the Rotary Club of Bentonville and Board Member for Circle of Life Hospice and the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce. Educational background includes a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Arkansas, earned between 1994 and 1998.
