Meredith Bender is a skilled communication professional with a diverse background in public relations and journalism. Currently serving as the Belton PD PIO & Community Outreach Coordinator for the City of Belton, TX since 2024, Meredith previously worked as a Public Relations Account Executive at lookthinkmake from 2023 to 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a News Reporter at Griffin Communications (2021-2023) and a Weekend Anchor & Multimedia Journalist at KXII 12 Media (2018-2021). Meredith began their career as a News Reporter for The Battalion, Texas A&M University’s official newspaper, from 2016 to 2018, after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Texas A&M University in 2018. Additionally, Meredith gained experience as a News Intern at KBTX Media in 2017 and studied at Universidad del Desarrollo during the same year.
