Kate Newell is an accomplished Senior GIS Analyst with extensive experience in geographical information systems. Since August 2003, Kate has been contributing to the City of Bellingham, initially serving as a GIS Analyst before advancing to the senior position. Prior experience includes a role as a GPS Technician at Whatcom County Public Works from August 2004 to August 2005 and as a GIS Specialist with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community from January 2002 to June 2004. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a GIS minor from Western Washington University, earned between 1998 and 2002, and attended The University of Georgia in 1997-1998.
