Jimmy Alcantar Rodriguez, MPA, currently serves as a Human Resources Analyst II for the City of Pomona since April 2023 and holds the position of Personnel Commissioner for the City of Baldwin Park since October 2021, having been appointed by the Baldwin Park City Council. Prior experience includes roles as a Human Resources Analyst at Los Angeles Metro from February 2022 to April 2023, a Human Resources Specialist for the City of Carson, California from April 2021 to February 2022, and a Human Resources Specialist for the City of Pasadena from September 2018 to April 2021. Additionally, Jimmy worked as a Human Resources Specialist with the Pasadena Unified School District from October 2015 to September 2018. Academically, Jimmy obtained a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Northridge, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Jose State University, along with an Associate of Arts in Psychology from East Los Angeles College.
