Debra Priorie, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as a Senior Human Resources Advisor for the City of Austin since January 2016. With extensive experience in human resources, Priorie has held significant positions such as Director of Human Resources at East-West Ministries International and HR Manager at SOC LLC, focusing on employee relations, policy development, and compliance. Previous roles include HR Director at Davidson Hotels & Resorts, where compliance was achieved leading to a successful internal audit, and HR Manager at AECOM, where systems for staffing and HR matters were developed. Priorie also served as a Senior HR Generalist at KBR, Inc., supporting a large expatriate population in employee relations. Academic credentials include a Certificate in Russian Studies from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Excelsior University.
