Joseph Sears is an experienced police officer currently serving the City of Auburn Hills since May 2016, with prior experience at Michigan State University Police Department from April 2012 to January 2016 as the Lead Student Supervisor for Parking Enforcement. In this role, Joseph managed a team of 40 student parking enforcers, scheduled shifts, and enforced parking regulations. Additional security roles included positions at ERMC, Powers Catholic High School as a Marching Band Drill Instructor, and various security guard roles, where Joseph gained extensive experience in event security, patrol duties, report writing, and emergency response. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Michigan State University, alongside a minor in Spanish Language and Literature, and completed the 97th Mid-Michigan Police Academy curriculum in 2016.
