Casandra Eames is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion as the current Coordinator for the City of Ames, Iowa, since March 2023. Prior to this role, Eames served as a Bilingual Legal Assistant at the Story County Attorneys Office from May 2015 to March 2023, where effective communication and collaboration were key in addressing organizational needs. Eames also has a background as a Detention Officer at Story County Jail, facilitating behavioral change and maintaining security, and as a Bilingual Family Based Services Counselor with Youth and Shelter Services, providing critical coaching and support.
