Stephanie Hernandez currently serves as the Assistant City Manager and Director of Finance for the City of Alamogordo since March 2019. Prior to this role, Stephanie worked for New Mexico State University Foundation Inc. from October 2008 to March 2019, holding various positions including Foundation Investment Bank & Endowment Officer and Gift Processing, Demographic, & Accounts Payable Supervisor. Stephanie’s earlier experience includes roles at New Mexico State University, such as Budget Analyst and Accountant III, starting in April 2004. Stephanie holds multiple degrees from New Mexico State University, including a Master's degree in Education, Leadership, and Administration, a Master's degree in Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, among others.
