Michael Speaker is currently working as the EVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at City National Bank. Prior to this role, Michael served as the Deputy General Counsel at Fifth Third Bank, Counsel at Ashurst, Deputy Chief Counsel at the United States Department of the Treasury, and Associate at McKee Nelson LLP. Michael has extensive experience in corporate law, capital markets, wealth and asset management, commercial lending, and financial stability. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a BA in Government from the University of Notre Dame.
