Jen Meerow Berniker is the founder and head content creator of Designport, a collaborative content site focused on home design and renovation, based in Westport, Connecticut, since October 2020. In addition to this role, Berniker serves as a freelance writer for Westport Lifestyle Magazine, covering topics such as wellness, sustainability, and local business profiles. Previous experience includes positions as an advisor for Invest in Their Art, director of video and still photography at Suburban Jungle, and a non-profit video producer for organizations like Breathe 4 ALS and A Better Chance. Berniker has also contributed to notable productions for HGTV and PBS. Berniker holds a B.A. from Brown University, with a double major in English Literature and Modern Culture & Media Studies.
