Jay Nath is the Co-CEO at City Innovate. Jay was previously the Chief Innovation Officer for the City and County of San Francisco from September 2006 to February 2018. During their time there, they served the Mayor and the City of San Francisco to introduce new ideas and approaches to making government more effective, equitable, and responsive. Before that, Nath was the VP of Product at SquareTrade from February 2005 to September 2006. Jay developed strategy and business plans for their largest business line and managed their largest product line including P&L. Prior to that, Nath took a year off to backpack through South Asia from March 2000 to March 2001. Jay traveled through Nepal, India and Thailand. Nath started their career as a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers from June 1997 to February 1998.

Jay Nath attended Cornell University's College of Arts & Sciences, where they majored in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.
