Guido Lips has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Guido started their career as a Sales Manager at Blue Boat Company in 2000 and worked there until 2007. In 1999, they briefly worked as a Producer at Krasnapolsy Events. In 2007, Guido became the Interim General Manager at City ID, a hotel group based in Amsterdam, and later took on the role of Partner. Guido served in these positions until 2023 when they became the Head of Guest & Cultural Experience at City ID. In 2020, Guido also served as the Interim General Manager at Hotel BOAT&CO. Prior to their tenure at City ID, Guido was the Managing Director at A-partments Amsterdam from 2007 to 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Hotel Manager and Partner at Amsterdam ID Aparthotel from an unknown start date until 2020. Guido's experience spans across various roles and responsibilities in the hospitality industry, showcasing their expertise and adaptability.

Guido Lips pursued their education at Stenden University from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management. Concurrently, they also attended Christelijke Hogeschool Nederland from 1994 to 1998, where they completed a bachelor's degree in Hotel Management.
