Director Of Risk Management at City Harvest

Phineas Goto has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to risk management, environmental health and safety, and supervision. Phineas is currently working as the Director of Risk Management at City Harvest. Prior to this, they worked as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Nebraskaland from September 2020 to November 2021. From 2018 to 2020, they served as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at FreshDirect. Before that, they had a successful tenure at UPS, where they held multiple positions such as Plant Engineering Supervisor, Automation Specialist, Health and Safety Supervisor, and Operations Supervisor between 2012 and 2018. Phineas began their career at U.S. Energy Engineers as a Project Supervisor, where they worked from 2006 to 2012.

Phineas Goto attended Thomas Edison State University from 2018 to 2023, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. Phineas obtained several additional certifications throughout their education and career. In May 2017, they became a Maximo Application Certified User through IBM. In July 2018, they completed Fire Safety Director Training (FSD) from the New York City Fire Department. In October 2018, they obtained the Fire Safety Inspector certification (CHP) from the same department. In November 2018, they became certified in CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Heart Association. In February 2019, they obtained the certification of Certified PITO Trainer from The Raymond Corporation. In June 2019, they became an Electrical High Voltage Switchgear Operator through Con Edison. In May 2020, they received the OSHA-30 certification for General Industry from the US Department of Labor OSHA. In October 2020, they became a Certified HACCP Course participant through the International HACCP Alliance. In November 2020, they achieved SQF Certified Practitioner status from the SQF Institute. Lastly, in June 2022, they became a Certified ALICE Active Shooter Instructor through ALICE Training, and in March 2023, they obtained the Certified Food Protection Manager certification from ServSafe.
