India Daniels is an experienced Civic Producer at City Bureau since September 2018, responsible for compiling the Newswire, which highlights local government activities based on the contributions of Chicago Documenters. Previously, India served as the Documenters Field Coordinator, managing the training and scheduling of citizens to document government meetings. Additional experience includes working as a Curriculum Development Specialist at Turning the Page, creating literacy-based workshops for North Lawndale schools, and serving as a Research Assistant at the Center for Social Research, where India engaged in survey design and data analysis. India began the professional journey as a Student Assistant at Hekman Library, supporting reference services. India holds a degree in History and English Literature with a Spanish minor from Calvin University.
