Joachim Perlas has extensive experience in recreation and youth program management, currently serving as the SFO Talent Pipeline Manager and previously as a Recreation Supervisor at the City and County of San Francisco since March 2014. In this role, Joachim oversees citywide sports programs, including flag football, basketball camps, and youth baseball, focusing on equity zones. Prior experience includes serving as Recreation Supervisor for Neighborhood Enrichment Services with the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department from November 2020 to September 2023, and as a PE teacher at Catholic Charities CYO from June 2013 to March 2014. Joachim also worked as the Afterschool Program Coordinator for the City of Daly City from June 1998 to June 2012. Education includes a degree in Recreation and Non-Profit Studies from San Francisco State University (2000-2005) and a high school diploma from Archbishop Riordan High School (1996-2000).
