José Walter Meissner

Mechanical Engineer Landis Gyr Contract at CITS

José Walter Meissner's work experience includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer for Landis+Gyr at CITS - Centro Internacional de Tecnologia de Software, where they are involved in 3D mechanical development using PTC Creo and SolidWorks. José Walter also works on the development and testing of electronic products for industrial and external environments, as well as the development of metal and plastic injection mold parts.

Prior to that, José worked at Delta Greentech Brasil as an Engineering Supervisor, where they managed the R&D team in Curitiba. Their responsibilities included coordinating activities related to New Product Development/New Product Introduction, utilizing Agile Administration using Smartsheet. José Walter also focused on Lean Manufacturing to synchronize activities and reduce waste.

José also worked as a Product Development Engineer at Delta Greentech Brasil, where they implemented SAP and introduced agile administration for engineering data and processes. José Walter was involved in the migration from the Totvs system to SAP, creating routines, flowcharts, conversion files, and control spreadsheets using VBA macros and agile tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, and Taiga. Additionally, they worked on a cost reduction project for telephony sources, aiming to decrease the use of copper bars and metal sheets.

Prior to that, José gained experience as a Technical Maintenance Technician for medical-electronic equipment at E. Tamussino & Cia Ltda.

José Walter Meissner completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 1997 to 2001, they attended CEFET-PR and received a degree in Técnico em Eletrônica with a field of study in Eletrônica.

From 2002 to 2006, they enrolled at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná where they pursued a Graduação em Engenharia Mecatrônica. Their field of study in this program was Controle e Automação.

Finally, from 2006 to 2008, they continued their education at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná and obtained a Mestrado em Eng. Mecânica with a specialization in Instrumentação Térmica.
