Tyler Aitken is a highly experienced sports broadcaster and journalist, currently serving as a Sideline Reporter for the Orleans Firebirds and as Sports Director at WAER since December 2022. Aitken has managed the sports department, structured broadcasts, and developed skills for station members while contributing to play-by-play and commentary for Syracuse athletics on various platforms, including WAER and WJPZ Radio. With experience as a Sports Anchor for CitrusTV and a staff writer for Orange Fizz, Aitken has demonstrated a strong ability to produce content, host shows, and engage audiences across multiple media outlets. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University, anticipated in May 2025.
