Mark Cirkot is a seasoned analytical chemist with extensive experience in various industries, including flavors and fragrances, gemology, and pharmaceuticals. Currently serving as the Lead Analytical Chemist at Citromax Group since October 2022, Mark has previously held positions at Innophos as a Chemist, where responsibilities included developing GC methods for detecting residual solvents and pesticides, and performing elemental analysis using ICP-MS. Mark's earlier experience encompasses roles as an Analytical Chemist in Quality Control at Advanced Biotech, a Technical and Research Scientist at the American Gem Trade Association focusing on gemstone identification and treatments, and an Analytical Chemist at Lohmann Therapy Systems, specializing in method transfer and validation for pharmaceutical products. Mark holds an M.S. in Applied Chemistry/Forensic Science from John Jay College (CUNY) and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
