Jerald Capellan has worked in the technology industry since 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Developer at JX2 Technologies, where they prototyped and implemented cutting edge designs through responsive frameworks and tools such as Bourbon Neat, SASS, Grunt, HTML5, CSS3, and others. Jerald also relied on Kentico CMS and eCommerce platforms such as Bigcommerce and Shopify to satisfy customer needs. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at 3Seed Marketing Design and Interactive, where they held various roles. As the Director of Application Development, they were responsible for technology projects from client contract sign off to delivery, setting timelines, managing resources, and quality of product. Jerald also led an 8 person team in developing solutions that solve client needs. As the Lead Developer, they led a group of web designers, front and back-end developers, and search optimization personnel on projects ranging from front facing websites to custom software for internal applications. Jerald was also responsible for administering numerous single and multi-tenants Web and SQL Servers and integrating Kentico with third party applications such as Salesforce and Twillio. As a Developer, they developed native apps for Android and iOS through the Xamarin platform, coded responsive sites using the latest technology trends for web applications, and created Kentico CMS sites. Since 2018, they have been the Director of Technology at CITRO Digital.

Jerald Capellan completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Systems Networking from Reading Area Community College between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, they are a Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer (obtained in June 2015) and CompTIA a+ certified (obtained in July 2014).
