Dr. Prabhakar P has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Dr. Prabhakar most recently served as the Regional Director at American Oncology Institute - Precision Cancer Care, starting in April 2021. Prior to that, they were the Medical Director at the same institute from June 2020 to April 2021. In 2020, they also worked as the Facility Director at Citizens Specialty Hospital. From 2017 to 2020, they held the position of Group Chief Executive Officer at Brains Neuro Spine Centre. Before that, they co-founded and served as the COO of Kritical Health from 2016 to 2017. Dr. Prabhakar P has also been the Managing Director of Tablets & Tonics, a retail pharma chain, from 2007 to 2016. Dr. Prabhakar has held various leadership positions in renowned hospitals such as Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, CARE Hospitals, and Kamineni Hospitals.

Dr. Prabhakar P obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from KIMS between 1992 and 1998. Later, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued and achieved a Master's degree in Health Care Administration/Management (MHA) from ASCI - HIHM in collaboration with Johns Hopkins, USA.
