Payton Staman is an Engineer II at Citizens Energy Group, overseeing wastewater projects from planning to construction since May 2019. Key responsibilities include optimizing process flows, managing significant projects such as a 600,000-gallon storage tank and Combined Sewer Overflow mitigation initiatives, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Prior experience at Citizens Energy Group includes roles as Engineer I, where responsibilities encompassed water distribution project management and finance monitoring, as well as internship roles that involved utility data analysis and civil inspections. Additional internships at Woodward, Inc. and the University of Illinois College of Medicine focused on mechanical engineering and biomedical engineering research, respectively. Payton holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Indianapolis and a high school diploma from Hononegah High School.
