Paul Cockburn is an experienced Event Operations Executive currently working at Shoptalk and serving as Co-Chair of Pryde at Hyve Group, which focuses on LGBTQ+ awareness and fundraising. Paul holds roles as a Strategic Ambassador for Citizen Ticket and as a Trainee Assessor for A Greener Future. Previous positions include Promoter Rep at 432 Presents and Producer, Stage Manager, and Event Design & Audience Flow at Hidden Door Festival, where Paul collaborated with multiple teams to optimize festival accessibility and design. As Events Officer at The Scottish Parliament, Paul manages a variety of MSP-sponsored events to engage constituents on pressing issues. Additional experience includes Event Ticketing Manager for the Fawkes Festival and Wondrous Woods, and Zone Manager for Leeds Festival 2023, overseeing security and event safety. Paul holds a Master of Science in International Festival and Event Management from Edinburgh Napier University and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Heriot-Watt University.
