Onur Sahbaz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in custody and asset management, currently serving as the Custody EMEA Business Manager and COO at Citi since May 2008. Sahbaz has played a pivotal role in driving 80% revenue growth in Custody since 2015 while maintaining a stable expense base. Expertise in financial data analysis led to the creation of a Client Profitability Model. Previous positions at Citi include Business Manager, where focus was on P&L management, and Product Manager, where coordination of Direct Custody and Clearing projects took place. Earlier in the career, Sahbaz thrived in various asset management and brokerage houses, building a Futures trading desk, launching a pension-style scheme for Coca-Cola Turkey, and heading a sales team to introduce Turkey's first Index Mutual Fund. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and an MSc in Quantitative Finance from Istanbul Bilgi University.
