Maarten Flierman has extensive experience in financial services, currently serving as Director for Benelux Financial Institutions Coverage at Citi since September 2017, overseeing relationships with financial institutions clients. Prior to this role, Maarten held the position of Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group at Citi, focusing on EMEA insurance clients within investment banking. Maarten's earlier tenure at Deutsche Bank spanned from April 2010 to August 2017, where roles included Vice President in the Debt Capital Markets, covering EMEA insurance companies, and positions in MidCap Corporate Coverage that involved lending, leveraged finance, and treasury sales. Maarten started the career as a Relationship Manager for Corporate Clients at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Maarten holds a Master of Laws in Tax Law from Maastricht University and a BBA in Management, Economics, and Law from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.
