Fernando Esteban Micheletti is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and internal audit. Currently, Fernando serves as Managing Director - In-Business Risk Identification Head and Managing Director - In-Business Operational and Compliance Risk Head at Citibanamex since December 2021. Prior to this, Fernando held various key roles at HSBC México for over 23 years, including Internal Audit Director, Deputy Head of Operational Risk, and Operational Risk Manager, focusing on audits across multiple business lines and regulatory compliance. Fernando began the career at Banco Santander Rio and has also held positions at Banco Credicoop and KPMG, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial oversight and operational risk management. Fernando holds an MBA from UADE Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires.
