Saleem Rahiman Syed is a Chief Design Engineer and Project Lead at Citec Group since July 2017, with extensive experience in preparing feasibility studies, instrument and automation work packages, and participating in HAZOP and risk assessments. Previously, Saleem served as a Team Lead at Westinghouse India Engineering Center, where responsibilities included developing test procedures for the Ovation DCS system in a nuclear power plant. As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer at Fabricom, Saleem focused on the design and verification of instrumentation for the oil and gas sector. Earlier roles included pre-commissioning engineering at Hyundai Engineering & Construction, where Saleem conducted Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for control systems. Saleem holds a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, completed in 2006.
