Mickey Sweatt has a diverse range of work experience. Mickey started their career as a Summer Program Assistant at Upward Bound Math and Science in 2011. In 2012, they joined Deloitte as a Software Engineering Intern. The following year, Mickey interned at Bloomberg LP in their Research and Development Infrastructure department. In 2014, they had internships at JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory) as a System Engineer and again at Bloomberg LP. Mickey also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Google in 2015. From 2012 to 2016, they were a student at UCLA, where they held various roles such as Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and CalTeach Intern. After graduating, they joined Bloomberg LP as a Software Engineer. Since 2018, Mickey has been working at Citadel Securities, where they started as a Quantitative Software Engineer and is now a Tech Lead.
Mickey Sweatt pursued their education in a systematic manner, beginning with their high school studies at Sultana HS from 2006 to 2010, where they completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Following this, they attended Victor Valley College between 2010 and 2012, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Mathematics and Science. Mickey then transferred to UCLA, where they studied Computer Science for their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, which they received in 2015 with honors (Cum Laude). Mickey further expanded their knowledge in the field by pursuing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from UCLA, completing it in 2016. To enhance their professional qualifications, Mickey obtained the Series 57 certification from FINRA in July 2021.
