Kevin Fang has a diverse work experience in the software engineering and data science fields. Kevin started their career as a Data Science Research Intern at Curii Corporation in 2016 and continued in this role until January 2019. In 2018, they also had a brief stint as a Software Engineer Intern at MIT Media Lab. Kevin then worked as a Data Science Intern at Intralinks in 2019 before transitioning to a Software Engineer Intern role at Google in 2020. In 2021, they continued to gain experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Meta. Currently, Kevin is serving as a Software Engineer at Citadel Securities, starting in September 2022.

Kevin Fang attended Commonwealth School from 2014 to 2018, where they did not earn a degree or specialize in any specific field of study. Following that, they enrolled at New York University in 2018 and studied Computer Science for a year. Eventually, Kevin transferred to Duke University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Linguistics, from 2019 to 2022.
