John Robertson has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. John started their career at Morgan Stanley in 2007 as a Researcher, where they worked until 2012. John then joined PDT Partners in 2013 as a Researcher until 2016. In 2017, they transitioned to Cubist Systematic Strategies as a Portfolio Manager, a role they held until 2019. John is currently employed at Citadel Securities as a Researcher, starting in November 2019.

John Robertson has a Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford University. John also holds an M.S. in Physics from UCLA and an M.S. in Physics from the University of Vermont. John completed their undergraduate education at the University of Vermont, earning a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics.
