Hao Ge has worked as a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel Securities since July 2019. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at Northwestern University from September 2013 to January 2019. Hao also had summer research internships at Siemens in 2017 and Futurewei Technologies, Huawei USA in 2015.
Hao Ge attended Northwestern University from 2013 to 2019, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Physics & Applied Mathematics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Hao Ge has also obtained several certifications, including: Algorithms Specialization, Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms, Graph Search, Shortest Paths, and Data Structures, Greedy Algorithms, Minimum Spanning Trees, and Dynamic Programming, Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach, Machine Learning Specialization, Machine Learning: Classification, Machine Learning: Clustering & Retrieval, Machine Learning: Regression, and Shortest Paths Revisited, NP-Complete Problems and What To Do About Them, all obtained from Coursera in August 2018.
