Gaurav Kumar worked as a Trader at Citadel Securities from August 2016 onwards, and as a Summer Intern for GPU and Distributed Computing at The MathWorks from June 2015 to August 2015.

Gaurav Kumar attended the University of Cambridge from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Information and Computer Engineering. In November 2018, they also completed the "Guided Tour of Machine Learning in Finance" certification course offered by Coursera.
